Doing Business in Northeast Florida is the Cat's Meow

Great Q&A in today’s The Florida Times-Union’s business section about an unusual service that offers transportation of pets across the U.S. and Canada without the use of crates. One of the things that struck me about the article was the fact that she moved the business from Atlanta to Jacksonville and her reasons for making the move.

“The business climate is just so much better here," Terri Maleug-Ray told writer Roger Bull. "From a tax perspective, finding workers, state filings, accessibility to the services that you need. It’s more reliable and affordable.”

It's a great endorsement for the Northeast Florida region.

Thinking of shipping Fido through the service? Be prepared to pay. The cost to ship a pet from Jacksonville to Atlanta is roughly $800.
