Preparation is the Key

Rarely does a business owner make a snap decision to sell the business. Health, family or financial pressures could force a decision, but most often the gears have been turning in that direction for some time. My advice to business owners is to take those first hints of selling as a great time to assess the value of the business. I provide my clients, and potential clients, with an opinion of value at no cost. I understate this assignment seriously and it's backed up by facts, primarily what have been the actual sales prices of similar businesses with similar sales and owner benefits? The reason this should be undertaken early is so that the business owner can make adjustments if the value isn't as high as expected. We offer a great program to help business owners improve the value of their businesses.
Have a great weekend.
